We would like to extend an invitation for you all to join "Navigating Science Education: Understanding Multilingual Learners' Academic Journeys in Elementary School.", a panel and facilitated dialogue about supporting MLs’ science learning in elementary school.

Join as nationally recognized science educators and experts in multilingual learner education, Drs. Griff Jones, Enrique Suarez, and Timothy Drake join UF faculty and students to discuss recent research findings and their implications for classroom practice.

This webinar will take a deep dive into the educational landscape of multilingual learners (MLs) and science education in elementary schools. The goal is to examine the factors that shape MLs' paths in science education, shedding light on the multifaceted nature of their science learning.

Along with the panel discussion, participants will dialogue and collaborate in small groups, generating actionable insights that can inform policy decisions and drive positive change in elementary science education.

The webinar will take place on May 9th, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM ET via Zoom. Please use this form to RSVP for our Webinar to receive the Zoom link.

Your participation in this webinar will be instrumental in our collective effort to create more supportive science learning environments for multilingual learners. Together, let's explore the possibilities and chart a course toward a brighter future for MLs in science education.
