If you are a UF student, faculty, staff, or alumni who traveled abroad, or if you are a UF international student or scholar, you are eligible to enter!

The University of Florida International Center (UFIC) invites students, faculty, staff and alumni to enter its annual international photography contest. There are three categories this year. Each entrant may submit up to two digital photos in only one chosen category. All photographs must portray the theme "Global Culture".

Each entrant may submit up to two (2) digital photos in only one chosen category. All photographs must have been taken during Summer 2019, Fall 2019, Spring 2020, or Summer 2020. Theme:

All photographs must portray the theme "Global Culture". Inspiration may come from landscapes and cityscapes that impressed you, daily life scenes with unique perspectives, exciting cultural activities, a showcase of your major/discipline abroad, newsworthy matters you observed firsthand, moments that changed your worldview or your experiences leaving a positive mark in service, teaching or learning. Showing your Global Gator spirit is always a plus, so remember to wear the UF logo, orange and blue or the gator emblem!

Deadlines:

Submission period opens August 10, 2020. All entries must be received electronically no later than October 16, 2020 at 12 midnight. Winners will be notified via email by November 4th, 2020.

Awards:

Judges will award a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in each of the three categories. All winners will receive a plaque award displaying their photo. No cash prizes will be awarded. UFIC reserves the right to modify the contest awards in accordance to UF policies and regulations.
