International Education Week 2021: “Celebrating 30 Years of Supporting International Education on UF Campus

November 15 – 19 will mark the celebration of International Education Week

The University of Florida is pleased to once again celebrate International Education Week (IEW).  International Education Week is a joint annual initiative of the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs and the U.S. Department of Education. It provides an opportunity to celebrate the benefits of international education and exchange worldwide.

This year we celebrate the 30th anniversary of the establishment of the UF International Center with pride in our long role in supporting the crucial global dimensions of the university’s mission to create a better world, and with a renewed commitment to this role in the current contexts. Therefore, we invite all UF colleges, departments, and centers to embrace and highlight their international efforts. We recognize that perhaps some IEW activities will be again held virtually this year, and despite the challenges of the pandemic, we encourage all units to celebrate their own contributions in support of UF’s global goals by organizing international education activities during this week.
