In March, the Gator Citrus Club, a student organization at the Horticultural Sciences Department (HOS), visited the Polytechnic University of Valencia (UPV) as well as research institutes, and agribusinesses in the area of Valencia, Spain. Faculty and students from the University of Florida's Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences (UF/IFAS) participated in this international academic trip. Dr. Davie Kadyampakeni (Soil and Water Department) gave a seminar and Ph.D. student Neus Alcon (HOS Department) presented her research at UPV. Thanks to this international experience, club members learned about Spanish agriculture and had the opportunity to share it with UPV students and faculty.
