UFGHCC is an opportunity for students from different colleges and departments at UF to come together to find solutions to relevant Global Health issues. Participants will use their knowledge gained through courses, research, internships, or other opportunities to find a solution to the case. The goal of this competition is to facilitate collaboration between students at UF and interdisciplinary research/problem-solving.

There will 8-9 teams compromised of 5-6 members who are each from a different department/college. We are looking for a varied representation of departments/colleges in each team, so individuals will be randomly assigned to teams. Participants will be chosen based on college/department representation and application responses. The competition will take place on a Saturday in February 2021; the exact date is yet to be announced. Teams will be judged by judges with experience and expertise in the fields of the case. The winning team will advance to the 2021 International Emory Global Health Case Competition in March.
