Gabby Cromwell

Gabby joined the International Center in May 2022. She processes payments for Study Abroad programs and the International Center in general, reconciles credit card payments, and helps with multiple program payments. She holds a B.A. Montclair State University (NJ). While in college she traveled the U.S extensively and hopes to extend her travel internationally now that she’s at UFIC.

Morgan Williams-Franklin

Morgan advises for Spain and Portugal programs.

 

A native of Gainesville, Morgan attended the University of Florida and completed her B.A. in Music Education. She grew up visiting family in Europe and has extensive experience traveling to Germany and Austria where she completed a study abroad program. She’s earning double Gator status by currently working in her UF M.Ed. in Student Personnel in Higher Education. Morgan previously worked for UF’s Office of Admissions and UF Online.

Alice Lopes

Alice Malnic Lopes is a recent graduate from Florida State University with a passion for international engagement and higher education. As an International Affairs and English double-major, her academic concentration was in Brazilian culture and postcolonial literary studies. She is currently working as an Administrative Support Assistant at the University of Florida International Center for Study Abroad Services.

Jackie Johnson

Jackie joined the International Center in July 2021. She works with faculty to prepare budgets for their study abroad programs and prepare faculty agreements. She also assists with questions related to students’ program fee payments using financial aid.

Jackie was born and raised in Gainesville, FL.  She has visited the Bahamas and enjoyed relaxing on their private island. She hopes to take a trip to Jamaica in the near future to indulge in their cuisines.

Maria Selezneva

Maria Selezneva advises for Russia, South East Asia countries and the Law Program.

She is originally from Russia where she completed her Master’s degree in Law at the International University of Nature Society and Man, Dubna. After participating in a student exchange program with the United States for two years in a row, she decided to obtain a Certificate in Translation and Professional Communication and move to the US. She lived in WI for past 6 years and is extremely happy to embrace warm and friendly Gainesville as her new hometown.

Kayleigh Nemeth

Kayleigh advises for the UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, and Scandinavia.

She is originally from Southern Oregon and completed her Bachelor degree in Environmental Studies at Boise State University in Idaho. Kayleigh has studied abroad in both Italy and Sweden and has extensive experience traveling around Europe, including the UK and Ireland. She spends most of her free time outdoors, hiking, camping, and skiing, but also enjoys photography, cooking, and watching movies.

Nicole Fuls

Nicole is the Assistant Director of Faculty Engagement in Study Abroad Services (UF International Center). In this role, she works with faculty on program development and also presents workshops and training for study abroad faculty. She also advises students studying abroad in Latin/South America. 

Jess Mercier

Jess Mercier advises students going abroad to Germany, Austria, The Netherlands, and with Semester at Sea. She also serves as the office’s Coordinator for Outreach and Campus Engagement, hosting events in partnership with the Career Connections Center, First Generation Student Success, Counseling & Wellness, academic departments, and more. Jess also manages UFIC Scholarships and advises for national awards such as the Gilman.

Linda Gritman

Linda has been working with study abroad students since 2005. She processes their Florida Prepaid, researches refunds, does daily deposits, prepares Independent study abroad program budgets for financial aid calculation and enrolls students in CISI health insurance. She is also the contact for the UF Online International Travel Registration.
