UFIC’s Sara Williams Strengthens Leadership Skills Through Manager’s Cohort

The UF International Center is pleased to announce that Sara Williams, UFIC’s HR Manager, successfully completed the 2025–2026 Manager’s Cohort on April 28, 2026. Facilitated by UFHR Training & Organizational Development Specialist Courtney Moon, the program began in September 2025 and included monthly in-person meetings and training sessions focused on leadership development and enhancing skills.

Since joining the UF International Center in 2021, Sara has brought not only her expertise in human resources but also a deep commitment to fostering a supportive workplace culture.

“This program supported my growth both professionally and personally by equipping me with practical tools and resources essential for success as a new manager,” said Williams. “One of the most impactful components was the 360-degree assessment, which incorporated feedback from colleagues, including my supervisor and direct report. Reviewing these insights provided a comprehensive perspective on my leadership approach, helping me identify key areas for continued development while reinforcing alignment with UF-specific leadership competencies.”

Sara is more than a vital team member—she’s a driving force in creating a welcoming environment that reflects UFIC’s global values.
