Advancing Global Learning and Staff Engagement at the 2026 Association of International Education Administrators (AIEA)

Dr. Paloma Rodriguez, Director of the Office of Global Learning, attended the Association of International Education Administrators (AIEA) conference in Washington, D.C., in February.

Dr. Rodriguez highlighted UF’s innovative approaches to internationalization through her participation as a panelist in “Broadening the Base: Innovative Approaches to Engage Staff in Internationalization,” alongside partners from ISEP.

She also joined a focus group discussion connected to AAC&U Global Learning research, engaging in dialogue about innovative global education initiatives and virtual exchange. Throughout the conference, she met with national leaders to advance ongoing collaborations and spotlighted UF’s partnerships with UNESP in Brazil, as well as upcoming COIL for Staff training with UNAM in Mexico.
