Aysegul Bilir

F-1 International Student Advisor (DSO)

Ayşegül joined UFIC as an F-1 International Student Advisor in May 2026. She previously worked at the Embassy of the United States in Ankara, Türkiye for 22 years as a visa specialist and team supervisor, where she developed extensive expertise in U.S. visa and immigration processes, supporting individuals from diverse cultural and national backgrounds and navigating complex regulatory requirements. She relocated to the United States in 2025 and has since been living in Gainesville, Florida.

She holds a BS in Political Science and Public Administration and an MS in European Studies from Middle East Technical University (METU) in Ankara.

Outside of work, Ayşegül enjoys traveling, crafting, spending time in nature, and exploring different cuisines.
