The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC)'s Organization of African Public Health Professionals (OAPHP) will host the inaugural Africa Public Health Day symposium on Thursday, October 13th 2022, from 8:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. EDT. OAPHP's theme for this symposium is "Amplifying CDC's efforts to strengthen public health in Africa through science, implementation, and effective collaborations." The symposium is sponsored by the Center for Global Health (CGH) and will be held virtually.
